1.2. How to reach Lucca
There is no international airport in Lucca. The closest International Airport is Pisa's "Galileo
Galilei", which is about 20 km from Lucca. From there the organizers will take you directly
by bus to Lucca. Firenze's Airport is about 60 Km from Lucca. Unfortunately, shuttle service
from Florence won't be provided from the organizers.
It is possible to reach Lucca by train from Florence and Viareggio (via Genoa). International
trains go to Florence or Genoa from most European cities.
By car take the A11 highway, Firenze-Mare, from Florence or Viareggio and exit at Lucca.
If you need more information about travelling to Lucca, please contact the organizers.
